Comparator with Hysteresis (Schmitt Trigger)

A Comparator with Hysteresis, commonly known as a Schmitt Trigger, is a circuit that uses positive feedback to provide two distinct switching thresholds. This "hysteresis" prevents the output from oscillating (chattering) when the input signal is noisy or moves slowly through a threshold.
