A Delta-Sigma (Δ-Σ) ADC (or Sigma-Delta) is a high-resolution converter that uses oversampling and noise shaping to achieve precision. Calculating its performance requires looking at the interplay between the Oversampling Ratio (OSR), the Modulator Order, and the resulting SNR.
